Here, I'm supposed to gush about what a great deal I am compared to writers CBA and ZYX and quote you my fee. That's not to say that I'm not a good deal, because I frankly am, but does that really mean much of anything when I say it?
I didn't think so.
You could probably find many web content writers online who charge $0.015 per word or less. But those articles would be written speedily, without much thought, and then you'd need an editor. When you hire me, you're hiring a writer and her copyeditor, who happen to be the same person. No one is perfect, but I'm much closer to it than most web content writers who undercharge.
That said, I realize that what I have in skill, I lack in experience, so I don't demand such rates of $100/hour, either. Admittedly, I won't comb the article to find that slightly-awkward adverbial clause or try to find a number of varied sources if the pay isn't there for my spent time, but with even my first drafts are notably sparse of grammar errors. With research time and my necessary wrist stretches added in, I can often write a researched article in an hour or two.

(One "page" refers to one double-spaced typed page with size 12 Times New Roman type and 1-inch margins all around. As a simplified rundown, "light" repair is mainly typo and grammatical error cleanup; "medium" adds some correction of phraseology and development. "Heavy" copyediting and rewriting include restructuring, reordering, and the adjustment of content.)
These prices obviously don't cover everything and aren't always necessarily set in stone, depending on the project and my situation, so feel free to open negotiations. Quote me a price. I'm no harpy who'll snap your head off.
At worst, I could decline, or you could neglect to give me the project if something comes up on your end. We can negotiate costs all you want; I certainly won't consider you under any obligation to hire me if we can't figure out the rates.
Some freelance writers demand a partial payment before they begin working. I currently do not require prepayment for regular projects. If your project's large or in many parts, though, I may request partial payment for segments of the work.
